
2008 RENTAL RATES
The following rates apply for receptions and for private parties:
Starlite Ballroom $800.00 (Capacity 300-700)
Expo Building $700.00 (Capacity 300-700)
Keppy 4-H Hall $600.00 (Maximum Capacity 300)
A certificate of liability is required (usually covered under your homeowners).
A security officer will be arranged for you at $20.00 per hour (subject to change). The price will be locked in two months before your event.
We do set-up, clean-up (with in reason), and provide bartenders at no extra cost.
Our rectangular tables are 8' long and seat eight per table. White plastic table covering is provided at $3.00 per table covered and linens are available at $5 per table. (You must use our table covering to protect our tables.) Round tables (used in the Starlite and the Keppy 4-H Building) will be covered with linens at a cost of $5 per table. (Each of the tables seats eight.)
All other beverages must be purchased from the Mississippi Valley Fair. NO ALCOHOL MAY BE BROUGHT ONTO THE PREMISES.
Champagne will be provided at $3.00 per glass. Drink tickets will be provided upon request. Your cost is $3.00 per ticket turned in for wine, mixed drinks, or bottled beer.
Cost of kegs at present is $175 each for the first two kegs. Each additional keg will be $220. The cost of 12 ounce cans of soft drinks are currently $1.00 each. These prices are subject to change but will be locked in 2 months before the event.
A deposit of 1/2 the total rent is due within 15 days of a contract. The balance of the rent is due 90 days prior to the event. ALL BILLS FOR EXTRA CHARGES MUST BE PAID TO THE BARTENDER ON THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT.
No candles are allowed for decorations. You must be out of the building by 1:00 a.m.
